What we do
DWS’s private equity business offers co-blended funds, co-investment opportunities and bespoke account solutions combined with global access to differentiated and dynamic private equity situations. Our team is focused on gaining exposure to quality private market opportunities (through the acquisition of single assets, asset portfolios or via more structured transactions) supported by rigorous due diligence, governance and risk analysis processes, fund administration and reporting.
We view each situation as unique for the seller, the manager and the portfolio companies and we work with all stakeholders to provide a tailored ‘win-win’ solution. Our team has a longstanding record in solving complex issues and being a value-added additional or replacement long-term investment partner.
Types of investment:
We work with Private Equity managers to provide capital to sponsor-backed transactions across a broad range of opportunity sets.
Our highly experienced, entrepreneurial team is unique in combining a comprehensive skill set as Direct Investors, GPs, LPs, Secondary Investors, Secondary Advisors, Legal Professionals, Accountants, Company Directors, M&A Bankers and Consultants. This gives us valuable insight and a true 360 degree view of the market – having “sat on all sides of the table”. We pride ourselves in having a flat, open culture of continuous improvement, innovation and respect – where the best idea matters more than corporate title. This approach to partnership extends to everything we do, ensuring best in class processes and efficient execution.
