Deutsche Asset Management (Deutsche AM) and Basler Versicherungen today announced that Basler Versicherung is the first partner to deploy new Robo white label technology developed by Deutsche AM, with the launch of a new distribution channel called “Baloise MONVISO” available on www.monviso.de. Basler Versicherungen private clients now have access to professional investment management expertise from Deutsche AM via the internet. This allows the client to finalise a tailored, fund-based investment – completely digitally, from developing a personal investment strategy through to setting up a portfolio online. Basler Versicherung will manage distribution to the client with Deutsche AM taking responsibility for portfolio management.
Portfolio management is based on Deutsche AMs strategic outlook which is defined by Chief Investment Strategist Stefan Kreuzkamp and backed by the expertise of more than 600 investment specialists. Investments are actively managed by the Deutsche AM Multi Asset team. The investment universe will include active and passive Deutsche AM funds, funds from Baloise Asset Management and those from other fund companies.
Basler Versicherung has pursued a digital investment advisory strategy since 2009. It offers a recommended fund list as well as fund portfolios that can be specially constructed for the client. Baloise Asset Management in Switzerland selects funds from a variety of well-respected fund houses and creates portfolios.
At the end of 2017 the offering will be expanded to include Deutsche AM managed portfolios and digital portfolio sign-up. At this stage, the product will also be made available to Basler Versicherung advisors. The Deutsche AM robo platform offers distribution partners such as Basler Versicherung a pre-built white label solution for automated investment management based on a flexible fund universe. Investors set concrete investment objectives which then drive a tailored and professional asset management service. With a minimum investment of only EUR 400 or regular monthly savings of EUR 50 the service is open to a broad demographic.
