Professional Career

  • Erwin Stengele joined DWS in 2008. From 2008 to 2014, Mr Stengele served as a staff member of the Process and Transition Management Team at the Asset Management Operations department. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Workers’ Council of DWS Investment Group. Until March 2026, he served as Chairman of the Works Council. Since March 2026, he has been 2nd Deputy Chairman of the Works Council. In addition, he is a member of the Works Committee (Betriebsausschuss), an alternate member of the Economic Committee (Wirtschaftsausschuss), and spokesperson of the Remuneration and Working Time Committee.
  • Before joining DWS, Mr Stengele worked at Deloitte as a Senior Auditor (Financial Services) and for Lidl as a District Manager.
