Important security note: Warning of attempted fraud in the name of DWS

We have detected that fraudulent individuals are misusing the "DWS" trademark and the names of DWS employees on the internet and social media. These fraudsters are operating fake websites, Facebook pages, WhatsApp groups and Mobile Apps. Please be aware that DWS does not have any Facebook Ambassador profiles or WhatsApp chats. If you receive any unexpected calls, messages, or emails claiming to be from DWS, exercise caution and do not make any payments or disclose personal information. We encourage you to report any suspicious activity to info@dws.com, including any relevant documents and the original fraudulent email. Additionally, if you believe you have been a victim of fraud, please notify your local authorities and take steps to protect yourself.

Professional career

  • Karen Kuder was appointed Managing Director of DWS Group GmbH & Co. KGaA as of November 1, 2022. As Chief Administration Officer, she is responsible for the Legal Department, the Compliance and Anti Financial Crime Department, the Human Resources Department, the Client and Investment Monitoring Team and the Corporate Office. 
  • Prior to joining DWS, Karen Kuder was Group General Counsel of Deutsche Bank AG since May 2020, responsible for Legal, Group Governance and Data Privacy. From 2018 to 2020 she was Chief Governance Officer of Deutsche Bank AG.
  • Karen Kuder joined Deutsche Bank AG in 2001 and worked in various legal areas in Frankfurt as well as in London, New York and Luxembourg. She has been Associate General Counsel since 2014 and Managing Director since 2015. In the following years, she held various management positions with global responsibility in the legal field.
