Effective August 4, 2026, Xtrackers Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond ETF becomes Xtrackers’ second active ETF in the U.S. and its first active fixed income ETF, offering active municipal infrastructure revenue bond exposure with a competitive management fee of 0.15%.
NEW YORK, NY – DWS, a leading European asset manager with global reach, today announced that the Xtrackers Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond ETF (NYSE: RVNU) (the “Fund”) has converted from a passively managed ETF that tracked the Solactive Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond Index to an actively managed ETF. The new active ETF is named the Xtrackers Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond Active ETF and its ticker, RVNU, will remain the same. The change is effective August 4, 2026.
Following its conversion, the Fund will continue to invest in municipal infrastructure revenue bonds, the proceeds of which are used for infrastructure purposes in the areas of transportation, recreation, utility or industrial economic development and whose principal and interest repayments come from either a pledged revenue source or a pledged revenue stream combined with a general obligation pledge. RVNU will normally invest at least 80% of its assets in securities issued by municipalities across the United States and its territories that are classified as municipal infrastructure revenue bonds whose income is free from regular federal income tax. DWS is the first asset manager to list a municipal infrastructure revenue bond active ETF on a U.S. exchange.
“Xtrackers is committed to providing access to quality fixed income strategies,” said Hepsen Uzcan, Chief Executive Officer of DWS Americas. “Our second active ETF builds on that commitment, offering investors another way to pursue income and diversification while responding to market opportunities.”
“The conversion of RVNU marks an important expansion of the Xtrackers active ETF lineup in the U.S. and we believe RVNU could be a compelling fixed income allocation that can anchor core bond exposures for investors and deliver competitive after‑tax income potential,” said George Catrambone, Head of Fixed Income and Xtrackers, Americas at DWS. “The Fund will be managed by a team with more than 45 years of collective municipal bond portfolio management experience, applying active research and portfolio management across varying market environments.”
“Municipal infrastructure revenue bonds have historically offered higher yields than many traditional municipal sectors, along with attractive after-tax, risk-adjusted returns relative to taxable credit,” said Matthew Caggiano, Co-Head of Municipal Bond Strategy at DWS. “These bonds are supported by dedicated cash flows from essential public services, which we believe could offer investors access to stable, long‑term income linked to critical infrastructure assets. An active approach can help identify relative value, manage credit and duration risk, and adapt as market conditions evolve.”
“The Xtrackers platform provides investors with both high-quality and low-cost access to infrastructure revenue bonds,” added Henry Wu, Head of Xtrackers Products U.S. “We continue to be committed in bringing the ‘Best of DWS’ to the market in areas thoughtfully selected to provide investors with our expertise in both active investing and ETF management.”
The Fund is available for trading on NYSE and has a net/gross expense ratio of 0.15%. More information can be found in the fund’s prospectus .
