Account procedures and information

New account application – (For businesses, foundations and institutions)

Used to establish accounts at DWS for various types of entities such as a bank, foundation, endowment, partnership, insurance company, limited liability company, S-Corporation and C-Corporation accounts, etc. (Additional documentation will likely be required to open one of these accounts.)

NOTES FOR CORPORATIONS

Include a copy of Certified Articles of Incorporation or a copy of a Certificate of Good Standing from the state of incorporation, issued within the last six months. These documents are not required if you’re a publically traded company.

A copy of the Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Incumbency or Secretary Certificate may also be accepted.

If not included as part of the documentation above, you can add authorized traders by providing a letter of instruction listing the traders, signed by an authorized party on the account.

Onboarding new banks or financial intermediaries

Contact Institutional Services at  (800) 730-1313 (weekdays between 8:00am - 6:00pm ET) or your relationship manager to initiate a request for a new dealer code.

A standard Bank Selling Agreement & Intermediary Information Form for Banks will be e-mailed directly to you.

Complete and return to Institutional Services:

• Two signed original Bank Selling Agreements
• Intermediary Information Form for Banks (this form contains questions regarding general firm and customer information, key firm contacts as well as regulatory information)

Purchasing shares by telephone or fax

You may purchase shares by:

• Telephoning Institutional Client Services at  (800) 730-1313
• Faxing a request to Institutional Client Services at  (888) 666-1545

Note: If faxing your request, please call the trade desk to confirm receipt at  (800) 730-1313.

Investment by mail or express

• Make investment check payable to the complete fund name
• Include a letter with your name, account number, the full name of the fund and fund class and your investment instructions

You can choose how to receive your dividends and distributions

Dividends are declared daily and paid monthly. Shareholders will receive dividends in additional shares unless they elect to receive cash, as provided in a fund's prospectus. Dividends will be reinvested monthly in shares of a fund at net asset value. Shareholders that redeem their entire accounts may elect to receive all unpaid dividends either (i) at the time of the redemption, or (ii) on the next dividend payment date. If a shareholder has not made such an election, a fund will pay shareholders that redeem their entire account all unpaid dividends at the time of the redemption.

You may sell/redeem shares in your account by:

Selling shares by mail or express

Write a letter including:

• The fund, class, and account from which you want to sell shares
• The dollar amount or number of shares you want to sell
• Your name(s), signatures(s), and address, as they appear on your account
• A daytime telephone number

To help ensure wire purchases are credited correctly to your account, please use the appropriate and complete instructions listed below. For outgoing wires using Online Access, there can be only one recipient bank account per account. To direct a wire redemption to another bank account already on file or to change your designated online account, call DWS Service Company, Institutional Money Funds Client Services at  (800) 730-1313.
