DWS today announced the appointment of JB Park as Head of Alternatives Client Coverage for APAC, underscoring DWS’ continued commitment to strengthening Alternatives distribution and investor engagement in the region.

JB joins as a Managing Director based in Singapore, bringing more than 20 years of significant regional capital-raising and cross-border expertise in real estate, private equity and Alternative investments. In this position, JB will be responsible for delivering DWS’s differentiated Alternatives investment solutions to Asia Pacific clients. He will lead a team of sales and investor relations professionals in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan, focused on real estate as well as infrastructure and private credit strategies.

JB joins DWS from LaSalle Investment Management, where he spent more than 15 years in senior client-facing investor relations and investment roles. Most recently, under his leadership as Head of Investor Relations Asia Pacific, USD 1.8 billion in new capital was sourced from investors in Japan, Australia and Korea across multiple vehicles in support of the firm’s global fundraising strategy. He also served as Head of Global Partner Solutions Asia Pacific, overseeing indirect investment opportunities and executing five platform transactions; and previously led Investor Relations for Korea after serving as Head of Korean Real Estate Acquisitions. Earlier, he was Head of Alternative Investments for Korea at Standard Chartered Bank.

JB holds a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hankook University of Foreign Studies in Seoul.
