DWS announces appointment of Lucy Williams as Head of Client Coverage for EMEA Real Estate

DWS today announced the appointment of Lucy Williams as Head of Client Coverage for EMEA Real Estate, strengthening the firm’s global Real Estate platform and further advancing its client engagement and capital‑raising strategy across the region.
Lucy joins as a Managing Director based in London, bringing more than two decades of experience in real estate distribution, capital raising, investor relations, and business development across UK, European and global institutional markets, including significant experience in the Living sector. In her new role, Lucy will oversee client coverage activity and capital formation for DWS’s real estate equity and debt strategies across EMEA, as well as lead European real estate investor relations efforts.
Lucy was most recently Head of Client Capital, UK and European Investor Relations at Savills Investment Management, where she oversaw UK capital raising and European investor relations and global consultant relations, leading teams across distribution, sales support and RFP. During her tenure she successfully institutionalised the business and expanded investor relations capabilities in the UK, and launched new strategies including UK Affordable Housing.
Previously, Lucy spent eight years at M&G Real Estate, ultimately becoming Head of Business Development and Investor Relations, where she led capital raising, RFP and investor relations teams supporting over £35 billion in assets under management. She secured significant new institutional capital across UK, European and Asian mandates, focused on improving delivery and cross‑selling, and led investor communications.
