We first outlined our ambition at our Capital Markets Day in December 2022: DWS aims to be the first port of call for national and international investors seeking to participate in Europe's transformation. Our deep roots in the continent make us the ideal partner. Even at that point, we identified a significant financing gap, driven by the need to tackle climate change, digitalization, and energy independence. A few years later, the topic is front and center in politics, the media, and capital markets — and DWS is well prepared.

In an increasingly complex geopolitical environment, Europe has re-emerged as both an investment destination, and a region with renewed strategic potential.

Despite large-scale public funding through infrastructure packages and fiscal measures, private capital will be equally vital to achieving meaningful transformation. DWS intends to play a central role – by opening access for investors to a wide range of products and strategies to take advantage of the resulting opportunities.
