Mark McDonald is Global Head of Private Equity at DWS. He is responsible for all aspects of the private equity business including business development, investments and fundraising and also sits on the firm’s Executive Committee for Alternatives. He joined DWS in 2017 from Credit Suisse, where he was global head of secondary advisory. Mark has over 21 years of experience, including 18 years in private equity with Barclays Capital, 3i, Keyhaven Capital Partners and Pomona Capital; where he led EMEA and sat on the boards of various underlying investment partnerships. He holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and a BA (hons) degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Leeds.
