Important security note: Warning of attempted fraud in the name of DWS

We have detected that fraudulent individuals are misusing the "DWS" trademark and the names of DWS employees on the internet and social media. These fraudsters are operating fake websites, Facebook pages, and WhatsApp groups. Please be aware that DWS does not have any Facebook Ambassador profiles or WhatsApp chats. If you receive any unexpected calls, messages, or emails claiming to be from DWS, exercise caution and do not make any payments or disclose personal information. We encourage you to report any suspicious activity to info@dws.com, including any relevant documents and the original fraudulent email. Additionally, if you believe you have been a victim of fraud, please notify your local authorities and take steps to protect yourself.

Clemens Schaefer

Biography

He joined the company in 1998 and has 21 years of expertise in real estate investment management. During his career, Clemens was responsible for close to EUR 20 bn of transaction activity and has built several major separate account relationships with institutional clients for DWS. Prior to his current role, Clemens was Head of Portfolio Management and Chief Investment Officer for Real Estate in Europe.

Clemens is a member of the working group "Real Estate" of the German Association for Financial Analysis & Asset Management (DVFA) and of the Real Estate Committee of the Federal Association of Investment and Asset Management e.V. (BVI).

He holds Master of Science degrees in Real Estate from University of Wisconsin-Madison and in Economics from University of Freiburg and completed the postgraduate programme Real Estate Economist from EBS University of Business and Law, Oestrich-Winkel.
